I conquered the Pinterest princess party that I posted and dreamed of for weeks... Of course it was a much more scaled down version of my dream. I always have these good intentions and then ask myself why am I doing this again! At least this time everything made it to the party, balloons and all. The most important part is that Daphne had fun.
So excited that Daphne was a summer baby so we could finally do a pool party! So we rented out the pic nic shelter and kenwood and had family and friends. Daphne was in her bathing suit ready to swim.
We had beautiful princess cupcakes by our cousin Amanda. :). I made pink sugared popcorn(Pinterest fail), magic wand rice crispie treats(Pinterest fail), magic wand pretzel sticks covered in white chocolate(success), we also had fruit and chips and dip. I spent all morning getting this ready and half of them flopped but it's okay because it was for the princess.. They were cute while they lasted!
We sang happy birthday and Daphne had a few bites of her cupcake which I didn't let her smash after the terrible time I had cleaning her up after pictures! Daphne loved opening presents. She got a tea set from aunty April, and new stroller from Nana, Carolina outfits from Dena, a tea set from Leigh Ann, a doggy from aunt Janet and a Mickey and Minnie cars and playmat from Kesha. We are so lucky to have this giggly, dancing, smiling girl in our lives!
