I cannot begin to express my thankfulness this thanksgiving season. I feel blessed beyond what I deserve with a wonderful family and friends. This year brought a new tradition as Kenzie and I ran a 5k thanksgiving morning. I am thankful that I have the strength to run and that this has given me a new motivation to improve. I am thankful that Janet cooked an amazing meal for supper after running so I could pig out and not feel guilty!! (I still felt a little guilty!)
Well the first quarter of kindergarten is down! Jackson did awesome on his report card all 3s. His problem ... Talking too much! Surprise?! He has grown and changed so much in this time. Reading and writing and hanging out with the big kids! I've been struggling with his behavior! I guess a teacher mom wants he child to be perfect. 😳 Daphne is continuing to grow and change too! She continues her favorite word.. Woof woof! She has started recently to shake her head yes when you ask her questions instead of constantly saying no! She also says woah! And yum! She tries to say something that sounds like Jackson. She still loves him and adores him more than anyone. She continues to be a mommy's girl, a few of her favorites are Kenzie, Bryan, mimi and Granny. 15 months old and I still can't get the bottle away from her! Maybe it's me not wanting to let go..but she will not drink enough otherwise! Jackson was so easy! The babies were Dalmatian and firefighter for Halloween! So cute! Loved it! |
